As children in the 1820s, Charlotte Brontë and her siblings created many miniature pamphlets. Handmade and crammed with tiny writing, only those of Charlotte and her brother Branwell survive today. Made out of a variety of materials and sewn in many different ways, they are each unique.
Make your own Brontë style pamphlet using this kit. The finished book will be similar in size to surviving pamphlets kept in the Houghton Library, Harvard, USA and will measure roughly 2.5 by 5 centimetres.
The kit contains cover material in decorative card, paper, thread and instructions on how to sew your pamphlet. Just add a sewing needle and your imagination.
