Native American's believed the butterfly to be a symbol of change, joy and colour and a miracle of transformation. There's also an old English proverb about the caterpillar just when it thought the world was over, it became a butterfly... give yourself time.... The dimensions of this piece are 12inch top 6inch bottom length is 12 inch from top to bottom of the shape. Full length would be around 20 inches plus from the top or the wings from the add another 10 inch.
